Does anyone else feed their stingray Earthworms from Wal-Mart?

Mike is correct, earthwormorganics.net has the best worm in the country....and most importantly you know that they are healthy for your rays. EWO only feeds organic foods to the worms. Ira (owner of EWO) is great to deal with and he can answer any questions you have. (plus you don't need to refridge the worms. I wouldn't trust Walmart worms over the long term.

Save money and hassle. These stay at 70 degrees.

My worms from Wal-Mart say they are a product of canada and are distributed by a company in Michigan....so not sure why you would say China?

I can attest that the Wal-Mart worms look pretty natural to me. I wonder what they taste like..

he worm from walmart are canadian nightcrawlers. hence y they have to be in a cold enviroment. If u type in "buy nightcrawlers" in google u will find cheaper sites for worms than the website listed above. European earthworms (although smaller) than nightcrawlers can be kept at room temperture. You should be able to find something like 500 worms for like $30 shipped.

"You get what you pay for" and "you are what you eat"....If you want to feed the earthworms with the best nutritional value I highly suggest Earthwormorganics.net. I (and many other ray keepers) have searched everything out there and the organic grain-fed worms from Ira are the best available. I wouldn't feed Walmart or other commercially raised worms to my rays even if they were free (unless they could guarantee what the worms were raised on (nutritional value to the rays), and that they had never been exposed to harmful chemicals or parasites).

Ya walmart isnt the best place to buy fish food but im sure the worms are fine, 20" for a worm is HUGE!

Go hug a tree.

Walmart worms or others from stores are all the same. Still cost allot of money when feeding allot of rays. Other cheaper foods available but worms are good.
