I work 6 days a week, 5-12 or 1 if its busy enough. Im for sure run ragged haha it doesnt help i have rigid flat feet either, i complain about needing another person in the kitchen on the weekends at least but so far nothings been done. Its not a huge bar, i do have 12 tables total and about 20 or so seats at the bar to deal with

They have.. my boss told me the first day I worked "the customer is not always right if they're drunk" hahaha.. I follow that, I kick people out ion the reg for doing stupid things

From experience, one person in the kitchen is normal. Helping out with delivering the food is normal. Having to do anything extra is beyond your duties IMO unless its slow

One person to wait tables, wash dishes, and cook? And prep work, clean up work, grabbing beer from the basement, throwing drunks out, taking over at the bar if the tender is too drunk, etc. I also do parties by myself most of the time, saturday night i cooked for Thurman Thomas (old blo bills player, in the hall of fame i believe) made 13 pizzas and 250 wings. And a huge salad haha

get sick for a few days, but actually be looking for another job, I always prefer hiring folks that have a job to folks that do not. sounds bad but allot of folks unemployed for a reason.
 
what kind of cook are you? fry?
 
French bistro exec.chef here, regardless of how whooped I am, its always good to relax in front of the aquarium and watch for a good long while when I get home.restaurant drama melts away
