Does anyone else's Florida Gar do this??

odd behaviour I would think it is just stress for now. but you said he was doing this in other tanks in other situations. Possibly getting more O2 though the gills. try adding a bubbler and see if it helps

no offense, but i am not looking for an id on this fish. i am only concerned about how to get him acting normal again.

The gar is stressed...do some water tests, turn off light, and let him settle in.

i am buying a new test kit after work and retesting all the parameters. maybe the kit i tested w/ wasnt working right.
