Does anyone else's parents ever use their fih as a threat?

few questions:
1. do u pay the water or electricity bill at least?
2. how well do u do in school?
3. do u buy groceries?
4. are u only nice when u need something to benefit you?
if you've answered no to ne of these u should best listen to ur folks. the reason parents act out in irrational ways like threatening ur fish is cus they hav no other hope left to get thru to u. thas not a good thing. once they stop saying nething at all. that means they dont care nemore. ur on ur own. sounds like u got alot of tanks. u should be thankful. fish keeping isnt a necessity though many of us would argue that. its a privelege. sum dont hav it. bottom line, u should b listening to ur rents neway. its the 5th commandment from god. honor your rents1. juss think, its a win win situation. if god turns out to b real, then there r implications. if not, then at least ur safe. good day.

my dad used similar threats with me when i was a kid . seems like forever ago now...
it will pass , just try to behave and one day you'll have your own place and you'll be yelling at your own kids for misbehavin' !

I read on the odd news this morning of a mother who forced her son to kill his pet hamster because of bad grades. she's got one count of each- animal cruelty, child cruelty and battery.

Play their game and do what your told. Dont give them any lip, just a yes sir/mam and a good follow through untill you get your own place and you wont have these problems. I swear its that easy! I'm not saying what your parents are doing/did is right but thats how you can keep tyranical figures of authority satiated, true story.

No hope? Hardly. Spats with my parents like that are not a regular thing. But sometimes when it DOES happen, it gets bad. Like this...
remember that they are the parents. If you think that they are being unreasonalbe than imagine how they think you are being. I'm sure if mom or dad posted their side it would be a bit different. Remember that yes sir and yes ma'am work magic. The best being I'm sorry, even if you think it's not a big deal. The more you say these words seriously, the less you will get in trouble. Trust me, I teach and raise teens.
