Does anyone feed their fish fresh cod?

If you don’t feed cod, try rockfish, or Types of Sea Bass, which you can get frozen. Rockfish is more readily available, but sea bass, like duanes mentioned is good because of high oil. My cousin fed Rockfish to his Arowana. Rockfish is relatively oily, but usually doesn’t have parasites, and comes frozen.

I’ve fed a small variety of frozen critters to my fish but never cod.. is there anything special about it?

Sounds kinda creepy lol I freeze all the fresh food I get for a few days to kill any parasites. But thanks, it was helpful to know someone feeds cod.

Some parasites are not killed by freezing, they or their eggs just go dormant, especially those from very cold water areas.

I don’t know if it’s special, it’s just one of the few whitefish in stock near me
