Does anyone feed their jag by hand?

Jags have teeth fishbee.
I can feed mine by hand, but he's only about 8". Eats everything I give him.

I feed my 5-6" female jag by hand no problem. Honestly im not scared of getting bit. I've got bit by walleye and northernpike. Alot worse than any cichlid...

The first time my buddy caught a walleye he walked right up and lipped it, like most people do with bass...Lmao it was pretty funny. I've also been bit by pike, their teeth can really do some damage!

When i got bit by the pike i was doing him a favor trying to get the hook out of him without to much damage and chomp, he wouldn't let go until i put him in the water.

I picked up a 4" male from flowerpower a couple of months back. He only will eat silversides, market shrimp, and night crawlers...all right out of my fingers.

Only thing my jags will take from my hand is night-crawlers.

My 12"er sticks his mouth out of the water and gulps till I drop them in. He's scratched my hand with his teeth so I don't hold onto the food as he grabs it. He LOVES freeze dried shrimp but I need to get some krill cuz they're bigger.

Mine will do worms and the like but gets a little too "mouthy" for pellets.
