So 2 months ago my fish got this weird external parasite that I suspect is either velvet or body flukes eggs and I’ve been treating them with Paraguard but it doesn’t work. Does anyone know any good treatment for this?
PS. I have Red tail catfish and other catfish and some treatments can be really harmful.

I’d suggest posting a pic of the fish along with water parameters. If it’s velvet or external parasites then copper would be a choice here.

There are others who could answer this question better than I and will surely come along, but for now I can say if there's anyway you could post a (clear) photo of your fish it would help them identify the problem and suggest and appropriate treatment. Without such visual aid it's kind of like shooting in the dark, which can actually make things worse.

Edit: lol kno4te posted a nanosecond ahead of me, but he was one of the 'others' I was referring to :)

I have a canister filter
Think u need to consider a large home made filter made out of large plastic bins for a pond like this. Not cycled. How long has this pond been running? Recheck ur water from the well and then the pond separately. All ur fish won’t be able to live well with ammonia spikes in ur water.

I check the well water ammonia every month and is always between .25 and .30 and the pond has been running for 1 and a half months because I took the fish out and did a hundred percent water change and fully cleaned the filter. I do weekly water changes of 50 percent and clean the filter sponges too

Maybe consider a ro system.
