i think there is something wrong if let a fish get in the way with your relationship... btw if you choose the fish over your husband, is that considered cheating? lol 
I don't know about hating my spouse, but I do hate some of the things she does/says. Everyone's got bad habits.

My hubby and I both gave each other "temptations" to help us quit smoking. Fish, movies, dinners, etc. Especially fish. I would buy him a frontosa and oddballs sporadically as long as he didn't cheat. Did you make a deal with him that you were going to quit smoking? If you did, and you broke the deal, then you have no reason to be upset with him, just yourself unfortunately. Everyone pouts when they don't get their way though, whether they admit it or not.

It sounded like a sweet deal. No cigs+(x amount of time) = new FH and tank...better stop smoking. your husband is just concerned for you becasue he loves you. pls dont choose a fish to get in the way of your FAMILY. there is no single advantage in smoking so better quit.
