Does anyone have a petsmart near them with this tank.

That's real expensive for an awkward footprint. What are you going to stock it with?

Then you really don't want a 30" deep tank. I'm 6 foot and have the Marineland 265 which is also 30" I cannot touch the bottom of the tank without my face being in the water. If I want to reach the bottom at the back I'm wearing a mask and snorkel. Also I'm on a ladder to do this. You want a nice big tank that easier to clean and better to view go with a 125.

The depth didn't seem like an issue for me either till I had to clean the tank.

Also petsmart is very expensive for these type of tanks even though they have nice MDF stands.
I would personally go with the footprint of a 120 gallon 4x2x2.
Much easier to clean and more depth

Btw just feel the need to add #### mdf stands #### em to the out rim of hell. I had one on a 55 reef and the damn thing started to falling apart so I had to empty the whole tank, get a new stand. However as the MDF stand crumbled it warped the tank so the damn thing sprung a leak. So I had to replace both the tank and stand. Mean whole 60 lbs of rock and coral were in buckets. Plus fish for 2 days.

Who would recommend an MDF tank stand?!?!?! Mdf should never ever be used where it will get wet.. especially routinely. I agree with you.. absolutely crazy to not get a solid wood or metal stand. Begging for disaster with a disposable tank setup like that.
 
Some of the petsmarts here in Colorado Springs have these but the tank is trimmed in the oak veneer and the stand is actually wood. I think they normally run around the same price.

Yeah, I would definitely want the solid wood stand. In regards to stocking ideas, I'm thinking of a silvery predator tank: might move my Odoes out of the 180 and look for other carcarins that aren't likely to outgrow that footprint. Maybe a scomb if I can find one. Open to suggestions as well.

I think you guys have convinced me against the 150 though (thank you), so I am now actively hunting down a 120.
