You can build a false wall and hide the heater and pump behind there or get a heater cage/guard so they don’t burn themselves.

Ya, I was thinking of something hooked up to a thermostat. I imagine they’re similar to keeping amphibians or semi aquatic reptiles which I’ve done and doGood question but I never tried it. That’s a great idea and you could hook it up to a thermostat. I imagine it would work.
