It is venomous...

Poisonous implies that it is a substance that either have to be consumed or absorbed, while venomous implies that it is injected via bite or a sting.

I am not a fan of hot herps, the only one I like is the the one with the most common and one of the cheapest antivenoms: copperheads.

That is the only one that I have ever handled, and probably the last one.

Beautiful snakes, probably the most common venomous species around where I live.

i will just start out with Gila Monster, then viper xD

Gila Monster is one of my favorite, cause it look like a puppy pug ^^;;
but the price tag is also nice too, $1800 - 2000 US each *cries* TT.TT;;

yea they are expensive. Are beaded lizards the same type of price range? Some of them are beautiful, just a lot bigger than the gilas.

bearded dragon is a lot cheaper.. a lot!! ^^

You can buy a full dozen of bearded dragon (sandfire morph and etc etc) and that will still cost cheaper than a Gila ^^

and then you can start your own bearded dragon breeding project!

I misread your earlier post davo.. I thought you meant bearded dragon and you actually said beaded dragon..

I dont know anything about beaded dragon (all I know is they are larger than Gila monster) I assume they will cost as much as Gila ^^

Whem I get more experience i will go herping for venomous snakes(here in my country they're a lot!!!), the only rule with them no touching!!!
