Probably the Poly section
ok so i was looking on the local news site in the classifieds section for reptiles, and there is a guy in the city next to mine selling a baby woma, 2.5 feet for $250, so does anyone keep them on here? i remember seeing one a while back for sale that was nearly $1000 bucks so whats the deal with them currently, are they now a common species that is just reaching the u.s. or what? i mean $250 is pretty cheap for a snake species that last year was beeing sold for $1 grand. i mean the female leatherback beardie i might buy to breed with my male beardie is more than this woma. so i mean did i miss something about the snakes within the last year?

There are a couple near me that are running around $300. A local breeder says that there isn't much demand for them, he only sells about a clutch a year.

Can't Live with em
Can't Live.. oh wait

The demand has shifted away from anything large right now. more people are going for smaller snakes and the prices on pituophis have gone up. Just a trend I have noticed. I know a lot of people started breeding womas in the past few years because their price was so high so now there are too many of them and everyone that really wanted them already has them.

They were 1K about 6 years ago.......Held steady around $600-700 for a few years, and now they're at $200-$300 each.......They've been in the US for quite a while, and aren't that un-common.......

They are Pit size.........

I just googled some images of the snake in question so I had an idea what you guys were referring to....what an incredible python. Gorgeous colors and pattern. I can see why there was a demand for this snake. I have never seen one of those in person, but sure would love to.
