Does anyone know what happened to Aquarium Fish International?

I went to check their website to see about a subscription, since they have been my favorite fish magazine since they first came out. And I see the last issue came out in mid 2012. With Freshwater and Marine Aquarium Magazine gone, I'm guessing Tropical Fish Hobbyist is the last one left now...
 
Last issue was October 2012. Bow Tie ceased publication (probably due to lack of subscriptions and advertisers). With the internet, magazines are going the way of the dinosaur.
 
Yeah I agree that the internet is probably a major player in the death of some magazines.I liked the mag but it was expensive at over eight bucks an issue.
 
Wow, that's expensive. Last I checked, they hadn't moved to digital well at all. I think most magazines have that failing. I just got the TFH $0.99 deal, and you have to be online to read an issue. That's pretty unacceptable.
 
I don't see how International even lasted this long,in this area...The big box pet stores didnt carry the mag so I could only come across it when I happened to go to a mall and stop in one of the big book stores.
 
Another good freshwater mag is Amazonian

I just checked out Amazonas. Holy cr*p, talk about getting a digital magazine right! Their web site is awesome. You can tap on the left and right side of the screen to turn pages. Pages are nice high res with smooth transitions.

No offline access that I can see. But the rest is just superb.
