Does anyone know where to find API test vials? Please help

Leakage, that's an understatement. It says to vigorously shake the vials, well okay sure. It's pretty bad after you put in 20 drops and you shake it for a minute and the water in the vial is below where your suppose to start with.

EXACTLY Atleast im not the only one. The nitrate test is the worst gotta "shake vigorously for one minute" Lose half the damn results . Anyone hear of better quality tubes or any ideas these things don't work for me. I am far too OCD.

That's what i'm saying, lol. I just thought I had like defective vials, then all three did it. I'm not sure if mixing fish water, with 2 unknown substances and it spilling on your hands is good. The nitrate bottles, If i remember(too lazy to talk downstairs) shows the skeleton symbol, which I hear is rather painful.

I soaked mine in vinegar to clean them and now the white writing on mine has rubbed off. I need at least four of them ,but cannot seem to find them anywhere. I don't want to buy a brand new kit so if anyone knows where to find them I would greatly appreciate it.

My LFS has a box full of spare API vials on their checkout counter... So check your LFS again i guess.

called snap caps, if it works for potentially dangerous blood cultures I'd figure it would work for your aquarium tests.
