i have a 6" sun and when he was small he would hide until lights out but now he's bigger he comes out quite alot,they don't like each other much when they are older i've heard,mine also will take 2" whitebait straight out of my fingers!

I just got 3 myself today about 3" they were labeled as "eclipse catfish" I think the more common name for them is "sun catfish" A.K.A "Tai catfish".
From researching I beleive them to be more of a schooling fish. Some sites stated as large as 18" but most were stating the 10-13" range.

Mine were sold as Burmese sunglow cats... And I've read around a foot... 18 inches is probably pushing absolute largest....
