does anyone powerfeed their rays?

females grow faster than males. let it take whatever time it takes and enjoy watching them grow. :) good luck. how about some pics ?
 
There are schools of thought (especially among arowana keepers) that overfeeding- and hence quick growth-- leads to deficiencies in colour, too. I would be far more concerned with the colour and health of my rays, rather than the size.
 
i heard powerfeeding is bad for the fishes life long term....

I'd be more worried about that ENDLI than anything else. My friend woke up just one day to two dead rays because at night they were being chased around by the ENDLIs.
 
no, the bichirs are lazy and are pretty mild mannered. if anything, they are usually harrased by the rays trying to cup them
 
anyway, the stigrays and my other fish are going on a diet. i am going to be gone for 3 months, so they will only be fed 3-4days a week by my friends
