Does anyone use table salt in their tanks?

I use aquarium salt.If unable to get it, use "kitchen salt" w/o Iodine. One spoon per 5 gallons.

uhh if you want to go brackish yea i would but to just freshwater nope...your raising the salinity with adding Marine Salt. Its different from Aquarium Salt. but i guess everyone has their own salt to put so i guess it doesn't matter.

just to clarify, there is no such thing as "aquarium salt". its all just pure salt, NaCl.

i use 1 pound of kosher salt per 100 gallons of water for tonic treatment.... for a treatment its 3 lbs of salt per 100 gallons....

I add rock salt to my tank everyday after water change, fish seems doing fine and healthy, Aqua salt is better, but bloody expensive to use everyday
