Does anyone use table salt in their tanks?

$5 for 50lbs?????

Damn!!! I just brought some kosher salt last night from the supermarket for $1.50.

Is the "solar" salt better?? Can I change the salt I use for the next wc?? Or should I stick with the same kosher salt?

wouldnt necessarily call it "better", but all it is plain and pure salt, NaCl. difference being its more cost effective. i would start using the solar salt because its the cheapest option out there

I will check out the local Lowes/Walmart and c if they have it.

well the stores by me are as follows:

walmart: in the paint section/etc area. keep it on pallets next to the step ladders and trash cans they sell

lowes: on pallets as youre walking out of the store, and on the isle where the water filters and water softeners are at
