My little devils are killing all of my plants so I was wondering if they are eating them or just messing around. For a while I didn't feed them but they still seem like they had a large stomach and that made me think what they were eating. Well like after a week I notice that my plants started losing more and more leaves and realize it was the bullheads doing it. I see with my own eyes too but it's hard to tell if they are eating it or just messing around.

Now that they are eating my pellets and are always full they don't seem to mess with the plants as much but they usually do their work at night so I don't see everything. They are little tank bustas I tell you but I accept it and find myself ammused by it too.

Anyone here got any info?

I think they eat some plant material but they might just grub around, they are active little buggers at night. I have had a couple that ate cucumber slices.

Yeah I know it's dam hard to get the hooko out of their mouth. I've been biten once too trying to get the hook out and dam it hurts.

I got mine at aquatropics too.

Hey what's left over there at aquatropics??? ......if you can remember

There was one tiny sunfish ($11.99 for it too!), a few walleye, and lots of bullheads. The guy working there said that they probably wouldn't get anymore fish for a while, maybe even a month or two.

I guess I'll just have to wait until the ice goes off Lake Minnetonka to stock my tank. :D

I'm also waiting for the Ice to go away too and try to fish some rock bass and smallies. There's a place at Prescott that has tons of these small guys and are easy to catch.

 i can go fishing now if anyone wants a 15 pound blue or channel catfish for there pond
