does garlic work?

garlic powder is not the "same" as fresh garlic. and chopping garlic is not the right way to use garlic....thats why they have garlic press. you have to crush the cells in the garlic to release the oil that contains the strong flavor of the garlic. as for the oil in the fish tank...i dunno. the oil might be the only thing that actually sticks to the food after u drop it in the tank....powder might just wash off and foul the tank water.

Trempealeau, WI ehh, not to far from me!!!! anyways, There are tricks to the trade to getting fish to eat, and some causes may go as far back to how the fish was caught from the wild, and the type of natural diet. Some fish, just plain wont eat. I have noticed that multiple feedings per day, 6 maybe even 7 small feedings may eventually entice this fish, or its shy eater and likes to feed after lights out. I have a clown, that i never witness eating, but hes as big as the other, and ive owned him for almost a year. My guess is he's eating after i walk away from the tank, or when its that time of night lol.
