Does Garlic work you ask?! DO PENGUINS WEAR MITTENS?! YOU BET THEY DO!!! ;)

Garlic has so many beneficial properties, its awesome!! Can cure internal parasites, beef up your fish, increase appetite, promote better colors, and makes your tank smell good!! You can either press the garlic and soak your food in it, mince the garlic and feed it straight to your fish, cut it up and put it in a puree with other food, gut load food with it, or for bigger fish, just throw in the whole thing!! Pacu, silver dollars, and plecos LOVE it! ;)

Right on except for making the tank smell good. Use as little garlic juice as you can get away with imo...it makes your tank stink. My jag was 6-7" when I got him and was stuck on live food only. I finally weened him onto NLS pellets soaked with garlic extract.

Garlic is listed as one of the ingredients in NLS Cichlid Formula. That could explain why my fish go nuts over it and can't get enough.
