does GRAVEL WASHER for Magnum 350 really work?
let me know if you use it? does it suck in too much gravel? isn't the suction too strong?

i want to buy hang on tank magnum cannister or 350 just to vacuum the gravel in my tank.

yes they do but you keep the same water and the filter colgs up fast you just have to rinse it often.... but otherwise its great

i can change water quicker with a bigger diameter hose, i just like vacumming every week or two. i would like to use Hang on the back cannister that they are selling. Does anyone use it?
i would move it between two tanks to vacuum the gravel. it is just 50 bucks

Yep, I've done it and they work fine. In fact one of the old lfs did all there vacuuming with a hand full of hang on magnums.

I don't use my magnum for that, I have the hose that hooks up tp your sink. That has to be easiest way to clean and fill your tank.

i have a pythin that hooksup to the sink to but using the magnum is nice because you dont have a limit of how much you can vacumm because of water loss with the magnum you can vacum all day untill your satisfied with the job

ROTTBO is right, that is the reason i wanna buy HOT magnum 250 just to vacuum the gravel.
i can clean half an hour and don't need to rush.
