well if my 5 bleheri can stay alive the fish buying will end, all i'll have to do is buy feed to keep up with these hungry little monsters...But ya i'm pretty sure you take the cake for travel on this site Jay :thumbsup: ....I'm pretty sure that (IF) a monster fish keeper has a girlfriend she is probly gonna think her boy friend is alittle koo :screwy: koo... My girl friend thinks i'm off my rocker, but shes cool about it for the most part

Ginzy, you say this is the end, but Ive seen you at fish stores. Talk about impulse buyers... :ROFL:

I went to the Big Als aquarium services near my house to buy some food for the fishies. I witnessed the funniest thing ever. This black guy comes in and asks the manager if they sold Great White Sharks...I look at my friend and start dying of laughter hoping he was joking around. He wasn't :screwy: , he sat there trying to explain to the manager that he was going to put it in a pool outside, but he was going to make a window in the house so he could see the shark from inside... :ROFL: At this point i was killing myself laughing...Now I live in Cananda, right now it's -1 celcius keep this in mind throughout the story. So after this guy is done explaining what he wants to do, while holding in his laughter the store manager tries explaining that great whites grow to over 15 feet, and even zoo's are unable to keep them for long periods of time.... :clap

People like this are the reason that smart fish keepers like me and others on this site get constant attitude from the employees of many fish/ aquarium stores. I didn't think they made people that stupid anymore.
 
My girlfriend always hassles me about buying more fish. I tell her, "If you stop buying clothes, Ill stop buying fish" Im still buying fish.
 
My mind keeps spinning as to how to squeeze another tank into a limited area. I keep thinking about constructing new tank racks and stands. The wish list of fish to pick up is long, but I have to enjoy the ones I have now. I have 6 tanks at home and I am lucky to have 15 tanks set up in my office at work. It is like a maze of fish tanks that I love seeing every day. The maintenance and water changes gets a bit tiring, but it needs to be done. I am just dreading the fact that we are moving to another office in about 2 months. Good times, moving 15 tanks and fish to a new office about 20 miles a way.
 
I just squeezed a 10 gal. tank i set up today, (making my third tank) in my bedroom. I'm already cramped for space, my girl hasnt seen it yet. she re-decorated my apartment for christmas and spent big bucks. She is gonna go ape$hit when she sees it... and next week, i have a 40 gal. breeder goin under my 50 gal. breeder that will hold exodons.
 
my 10 gal. is gonna hold puffers by the way... cant wait.
 
No it never ends I "gave up" keeping fish 7-8 years ago.Little over a year ago set up a 55,then bought a 75.Then rebuilt my fishroom and set up 7 more tanks.Searching for a 125 or bigger at a reasonable price.We go to seaworld/national aquarium/marineland every year on vacation.60 miles round trip to my nearest lfs most are over 100miles round trip.No it never ends :thumbsup:

They next time you go to marine land and your still looking for a fish tank bigger then 125 gals go to a store in Toronto called North American Fish breeders it has all kinds of tank (they even custom make tanks) for really cheap cheap prices
