It won't stop there. As long as you're a person who says it will end when I have this and this. Just give into the hobby. You'll feel alot better. On a side note. The only way it will stop is you find yourself having more fish than you can care for but the solution that many people have is to sell off some fish and eventually they will buy more.

spoken like a true veteran. Thats how it always ends for me.. when i can no longer take care of all my fish and i start feeling guilty... Thats when you scale down.. and when things are manageable again, you want to go up !

whats the most anyone here has paid for one single fish...i think my highest is 60 bucks...i don't know if i'll ever surpass that

Just paid $50...cringed and handed over credit card. I know it won't be the largest purchase or the last of that size.

About $60 for me too. A pitiful looking juruense that died a couple days after I got it. Luckily I was able to get my money back and found a much healthier one for $30.

But no, it never ends. After breeding Tanganykans for a while I sold everything and shut down all my tank. Sure enough though, after a couple years I got the itch again, set up a little 10gal, then another, then a 29, then a 20L, then a 75, etc.... Soon I will have a 300 and am back even more than I was before, SA fish this time though.

I want more real estate for my fish, I am working on a 400 gallon or something of the like.

As far as more fish.. yes there will come a time I guarantee. I drove 160 miles to get my Clown Knife. I had a nice cooler set up with a a/c inverter powering a heater and a pump! Fishy was happy and I had the seatbelt on the cooler:)

I live in Phila.Pa. and I find myself more and more driving to New Jersey in search of the next must have because the Philly stores are starting to suck.Itake a monthly drive to Sharkaquarium and from there I head down to the Aquarium Center in Clementon so I dont miss anything.I have been to some spots in DE.but Ihave not checked out any spots in MD.yet although I do have family there. The first time I went to ThatFishPlace in "94",it took me about four hours one way because at the time I didnt know a more direct route.
