QT tank hes been there for a couple weeks now .Did you get my reply ? Curious as to how you came up with i used ick meds on him?
Well, poo looks different depending on what is fed that day. When I feed mine shrimp, it comes out looking like a mini shrimp almost. What was he eating at the time of this photo?
He was eating shrimp in the pic .The only 2 things he's ate were krill when he first came in and i quickly got him on shrimp ,I threw some snails in from my snail tank 6 to be exact and today all but 1 are gone so someone had a feast lastnite .
There was some black waste in there too that looked like when i feed my fahaka snails ,but there was also the other sausage on a chain looking stuff.
If the food looks that similar coming out as it did going in, you are overfeeding. The food isn't being digested properly--it should still look like poo.
Not sure if this thread is dead or not but would IP poop look like a bloated fish's poop? the thread like poop when a fish has a bloom of pathogens in the digestive tract?
Would greatly be of help if someone that has actually went through the process of curing IP and not just a preventative measure with some pictures for future reference. just thinking out loud how helpful it would be to future newbie members like myself.
