Does my clownKnife have ich.

I have two clownknifes about 8 inches each and for some reason it looks like they have ich. Once i get home i will try to post pics but its hard to catch a good one. Well I am not sure if they do have ich or they are getting scratched in this cave they like to hide in

Ich would look like little white bumps on their bodies and fins. If they're scratching themselves up, it would look like a silver streak. Either way, add some salt and bump up the temp.

ich meds sould be your last resort, but the temp raiseing and salt will do the trick.

Depends on the size of the tank...how many gallons of water..

Dissolve salt first before adding. As for dosage, I usually do a tablespoon per 5g. It will not matter whether you are using table salt or 'aquarium' salt (fancy way to profit so easily on the part of the stores) as the iodine concentration is nothing to be concerned of.
