Hello; Some slow leaks have been traced to condensation on hoods and other things on top of a tank that makes its way out. Leaks have come from a filtertouching a hood part and allowing a tiny stream to migrate to the edge of a tank. I have had the spray from bubblers or other equipment land on chords and hoses and run out of a tank.
A tiny leak with little pressure behind it may eventually slow or stop as mineral deposits are left behind after evaporation.
While most leaks have not stopped on their own and had to be stopped by sealing a tank, I have had a few stop on their own over the decades. How I address a leak often has to do with the location of a tank. In a place where leaks will not cause damage I have allowed slow leaks to go for a long time. A very few have stopped on their own.
Congrats on having such a debris and sediment free tank. I have never kept a tank that did not have some of both.
