i've seen JD's breed under 4"

with the EBJD's no clue. i purchased 6 in the past hopeing to grow them out for breeding. and NONE survived over 3". no clue what happened. they just stoped eating around 3" and just wasted away. i treated for internal parasites and also tried some medicated food for the parasites, but nothing. they never ate agian, and died. however up till then they ate like crazy and were growing.

so after that wastefull spending to purchase them at $59.00each. i haven't looked back to trying agian. maybe when the breed becomes more stable or w/e and prices come down. i might consider trying agian. :hitting:

well that sucks on two accounts one Im in the process of growing me ebjd to breed to a dempsey so I hope he dont die at three inches, and second is who sold you ebs for 60 bucks?! I Live in Peoria Il they retail here for 30 but im definitely sellin mine where you are!! sorry to hijack just striking to me 60 dollar dempseys

:( yeah this was over a year ago. i have recently seen them for 30 in other stores. and i was so excited to get them. gl with yours, many ppl here have had great success with theirs. maybe mine were cursed. :(

sorry rich, try not to be discuraged with my experience. keep up good water quality, and DO NOT FEED THEM ANY LIVE. i also wouldn't feed it any frozen untill it passes the 3" threshold. get them on a quality pellet. maybe even try some vitamin food. ;)

I've seen EBJD's for 15 over here...
