My hose fell from the tank onto the floor leaving about 1/2 gallon of water on the floor. Some water went underneath my stand. I was worried about it molding so I used a blow dryer on high heat to dry the water underneath the stand. I wiped up as much water as i could with all the towels. This event certainly ruined my nice evening. >:-0 sorry about ranting. If you got a similar experience please share.

Do you even lift ?

In all seriousness, I don't spill it but sometimes I will like stub my toe on an object and slush it slightly, that REALLY pisses me off. Good thing I don't have to run the bucket up the stairs, and into the garden like I did in my old house

Water pressure is kinda low in my fish t
Room so why aqauaeon is going I gravel vac in bucket to. When I do spill it pisses me off. Even though the room is like cement tile type floor

It pisses me off only because i cause the spill myself by not remembering im filling the tank back Up. The funny part is i have tons of tanks and its always the same freakin tank i manage to over fill. And i dont even realize until my living room is flooded so i have to pull out all my couches ect...although the bottom of those couches are the cleanest of any house :D

What also pisses me off is my fish splashing buckets of water during feeding time and at random times throughout the day on my freshly mopped floor.

haha you must get a good workout pulling out couches. Luckily my spill was not very bad or else I would need to pull the rug. Sometimes my fish will splash me in the fast during feeding time. That pissed me off too.

My house slants to the left apparently cause it only spills out the left side of the tank and rolls under the couch in the left. So thats why it always ends up under the couches.

Just happened last week to me.
I was doing a WC before leaving on vacation, but was in a big rush. n my haste, I decide to just grab a bunch of food at the grocery store on the way out instead of packing.
We take off to the grocery store. While there, realized I left all my cash at home. Didn't matter as my fiancé got it all, but still wanted my cash for the trip.
Thanks God we stopped back home or the how would have been a total loss. Opened the door and the kitchen was under an inch of water. 4 month old cabinets, drywall, etc.

I dropped about 100gals on the floor 4 times now. It has all started when I have gone to a sump. After about 18years without one i am still adjusting. I look at the 180gal (only one with a sump) and see the water close but not filled so I don't move yet and I am usually on the internet getting distracted. Then I remember and freak out. I see that it is still "not quite full" and then realize it has been that way for a while. Best thing I have found is a rug doctor. Cleans, freshens and gets all the water up out of the carpet. Been electrocuted twice and my brother got it twice. The power strip fell into the water under my stand, that is lined in poly for just such an occasion. Memo the cheap power strips with built in gfi, the gfi doesn't work.

Gravity is a funny thing. Water just seems to always find the dang floor! Over the years I cannot count how many times overfilled buckets hose falls off tank airline hose siphoned hoses leak overfill tank overfill sump. Its just a matter of time accidents happen. Its just part of keeping fish tanks in your house. Last week I over filled my sump. I was filling the tank with the hose watching the sump at the same time. I thought the level looked lower but then all sudden I seen the water coming over the sump! I guess I should of turned on the room light so I could see better.
