Microfiber cloths. I use a 2,000,000 weave count Star fiber pattern wash cloth. It was about $5, and I just get it wet, doesn't matter how much, and it will take everything off, dirt, water spots and even fingerprints. Streak free clean with out chemicals, and it doesn't matter how wet you get it!!! FYI the one I use is the kitchen and bath towel by Bonakemi. I got it at an ace, and most ace's can get them in for you on their weekly shipments.

I dont use any cleaner at all. I just use a sock! I keep one near all my tanks and if there are any water spots just dip it in the tank to get just a little bit of water on it and wash! If you have streaks your sock was too wet. It works really good and who doesnt have a sock?
Do you take your foot out first?

I use white vinegar

a hand towel is as good as a sock. that and tank water works fine for me.

I love to waste money, I will get the ammonia free windex crap, just in case I hit the rim.

OK, I broke down and got the API Safe and Easy cleaner, I paid $6.49

This stuff is pretty much like a Taco Bell burrito twenty minutes after you eat it: it's crap. It leaves streaks and smears all over. Now I have to break out the windex anyway to clean all the streaks. Lesson learned.

this is what I use
