im building a tank outta wood with a glass front. its 10ft long 6ft wide, 3ft tall, 1350 gallons!

i would post pics but unless you want to look at a pile of wood a saw and an air nailer, it aint that interesting...lol.

its gunna be a native tank.

Does to me

that's gonna be an incredibly thick and expensive piece of glass/acrylic. It would just be a plywood tank. When you think of a pond, indoor or out you generally assume that you only have a top view. You'll have a plywood tank

im getting two sheets. 2'10" x 4' 9" each, theres will be a brce in the center of the tank. for 3/4" acrylic its $553 or for a 1/2" glass, its $435. ill prolly go with glass 'cause it wont scratch as easily and large catfish tend to kick up the substrate alot, wich could scratch the glass/acrylic easily.

I would go with glass. Much easier to remove algae.

of course!!! ill have a book published of nothing but pics of this thing!

i also need tips on a lid....canopy or open with a light bar? and filtration, ill have two pond pumps in it and an external filter, should i drill for piping or hang the pipes over the back/sides?
