i will post pics, but i dont know when ill actually start the process. i need a few weekends with absolutly nothing to do....i'll be putting at least one flathead catfish in it. mayber a few bass (largemouth or peacock) and maybe an RTC. but the RTC would make it a non native tank so im not sure, and im hoping to find a gold gar!
I dont think 3/4" acrylic is suficent to hold back 1300g at 36" deep, or maybe I read this wrong. most 1000g+ acrylic tanks I have seen have been constructed of atleast 1.25" acrylic, Granted I havent seen many. but the MFG, should get you the PSI rating then the math is all yours. I don't know how much pressure 1300g produces at 36" depth
sounds like a plywood tank not a pond.but if the thickness of glass would have to be at least 3/4'' i would use 1'' . 1.25 is a must for acrylic. i only say this because ive had a wet basement before.
