Light phase frt, just a monthly checkup to see if hes healthy.
He lost the end of his front right flipper, and its healing so he has a couple scabs on it.
But I'm worried about his head, it looks like its peeling a little.
he also has a little scratch on his side, not sure how he got it, probably from the drift wood in the tank.

I think he looks fine. Turtles shed their skin just like all other reptiles but they shed it as tiny flakes here and there.

Wow I didnt know you had one, lucky dog... Sorry though, I know little about their health issues, couldnt tell ya.

I think the green spots are algae on the glass. Other than that, looks pretty good. I'm not sure about FRT's but when I had diamondback terrapins they were really prone to bacterial/fungal infections so whenever minor spots (like the one on your frt's shell) showed up, I took them out and rubbed down the shell with diluted pimafix and let it air dry. It worked quite well, but I would check with a vet before I tried it on an frt, their shells are very different thant DBTs.

A little note, Ive heard gravel can be abrasive and a round-grained sand is best. Kinda live with stingrays.

the green is alge
The pink is hes a light phase and hes not a normal frt.
The white spots are also due to the phase, was like that when I saw him

I'm in the process of redoing the tank, and he has been in a bare bottom tank his whole life, so I wana make him feel comfortable. Making it a bare show tank.

Not doing sand, already stated that. This turt has never been in sand at all, my friend had him sence he was the size of a quarter, kept him in gravel and bare tanks.
