Does this happen to you all.

Mine are on a steady diet of the Hikari carnivore pellets. I tried freezedried bloodworms, but the first bichir never paid them any mind (they float too long I think). The second has gone after them once or twice, but I feel like all it does is make a mess of my tank and float around uneaten.

I haven't tried any live or frozen foods, but they seem ok on the pellets for now. I didn't have any problems getting either of them to feed on them, and my jack dempsey loves them too. Where do you guys get your live earthworms? All I can think of is going to the gas station and getting them as fish bait, but that doesn't seem very safe?

I'd like to give them a better/more varied diet, but I am on a budget and they don't eat a whole lot as it is, maybe 2 or 3 pellets a day each. I can't tell how much of it just gets left in the tank and dissolves though. I was having a lot of trouble in the 20 gallon not overfeeding them and turning the tank into a nasty cloud:nilly:
