I found a 150 gallon acrylic tank on craigslist for 300.It is just the tank and it is 60x24x24.It is drilled with an overflow on the side. The tank has some scratches but not too bad.Only thing that turns me off about it is the side panels are solid black acrylic. It was originally an in wall tank.I guess I'm looking for some justification on purchasing it.For my area this is a rare sized tank. The only large tanks I usually see are 125's that are priced way too high.

Well the price is a little high for my area but not too bad.thing is you never see tanks two feet wide around here.

My new acrylic 125 just cost me $465. Used tanks should be no more than half the new price. Especially since 90 percent of used acrylic tanks have too many scratches IMO.

The Max I would pay for acrylic is $2/gal. Unless I really need it to fill a gap.
I usually don't clean the algae off the back& sides, so black sides wouldn't be bad- IMO
