Does this seem like a good deal?

My new acrylic 125 just cost me $465. Used tanks should be no more than half the new price. Especially since 90 percent of used acrylic tanks have too many scratches IMO.
Where was this?I got quoted on a new acrylic 180 locally and it was 1000 plus tax.
Just do a full wrap around 3D background. :)

My thinking exactly.Maybe one of the flexible ones from DBN to go around the overflow as well.
Dude my glass 150 gal cost me 500 and it was used! lol
Yea thats usually the prices Im looking at in my area.
The Max I would pay for acrylic is $2/gal. Unless I really need it to fill a gap.
I usually don't clean the algae off the back& sides, so black sides wouldn't be bad- IMO

Yea plus If I set it up in a good spot I won't ever have to look at it from the side.

In this area that would be a pretty good deal too. Have you seen the tank in person yet? At that length the sides being black may not be as bothersome as you would think, plus the final resting place would make a big difference. If you think the sides won't bother you, and it's in pretty good shape then I would go for it.

I have seen it in person. The black sides were initially a turn off but now they don't seem too bad.It had some scratches but I am gonna buff them out if I buy it,most of the scratches were on the back of the tank. One side will be against a wall more than likely.Seller came down a little to 275 so I probably will get it.
