i am going to be getting a 110 gallon that is 60"long X24"deep X 18" tall does that sound more like a reptile tank or do you think that it is a fish tank?
Thanks

Anything can be a fish tank.... as long as it is glass, acrylic, liner, rubber, plastic...etc. and DOES NOT LEAK!! And can also be used for reptiles.
But the Measurements sound like a 120 gallon tank to me.

that is the thing is i did a tank calculator thing and it told me 112 gallons, if it doesn't have a centerbrace it will surely break, or if the glass is too thin, so i am keepeing my fingers crossed, i really need this to be a fish tank

I got the same thing for the calcuator.

I think there should have a center brace, if it doesnt Id be careful. Good luck

LxWxH in inches, then divide by 231, that will give gallon, according to the charts the glass on that tank should be 3/8" thick, reptile tanks are usually only 1/4".

the person that i am getting it from said that it is really heavy, aren't reptile tanks usually light?

i don't know how reptile tanks sound like?
i don'tknow how fish tanks sound like either...
do they growl??

just kiddin!!HAHA

it kinda sounds like a small python cage to me.

I think its a fish tank.
Just measure the glass thickness though to make sure

It would be a pretty big python cage since pythons do not need much space in a tank, may pythons over 1m long can be kept in a 3' tank.
so in theory a python around 1.7m could be kept in this tank...in theory which makes that python longer than me, not too small :screwy:
