I just got an email about a tank some lady is going to give me. She said she thinks its a 20 gallon tank. But the measurements she gave me seem weird and came out to 90 gallons. how do you mistake a 90 gallon for a 20 gallon?

30" tall 30" wide and 24" deep.

Comes out to about 90 gallons right?

Width: 30" (76.2cm)
Height: 30" (76.2cm)
Depth: 24" (60.96cm)
Your tank's volume is approximately 21600 cubic inches or 93.51 U.S. gallons, which is approximately 363.74 liters.

So I'm thinking it may be 20 gal? The cabinet is 24", two doors in the front but open in the back and then the tank sites on top and is 30" tall 30" wide and 24 inches deep.

Dis she specify that the measurements were in inches and not cm (12"x12"x9-10" ish) sounds small i know but maybe because your right that works out at about 90G. still no harm in getting a big tank for the price of a 20G eh :)

I'd definitely get it, even if you had to pay a little bit, let alone free. That sounds like a cool display tank

yeah man thats some sweet tank dimension... although i cant figure out how she thought a 90 was a 20.... maybe she meant 13" which would come out to 17g

That's an odd size...I'd be guessing she goofed on the dims. 30" long could be a 20L or 29 though...for free grab it regardless.
