Does this ugly FH have potential?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
ahhh for the quality that is available;e in the states i think you could have done wayyyyyyy better, but none the less its a nice fish, good lucky with her

i dont think it matters what size the parrot is little flowers can be little ****ers when they want to be and wreak havok amoung much larger fish, to be safe for your fish i would put it in the 125, really you should focus on having your floever on a tank of its own, then you can provide the optimum setting for the flowerhorn, and even after that you could go out and buy a high quality one ect ect.

I'm sorry from what I first posted it sounds like I'm buying another one.. Well don't have any lol

don't get it. It's just gonna be trouble 4 your tank if you dont have an extra tank. a fh of that quality u can get anywhere. It is the most common fh type

But I found that pic in google images and it looks exactly like the one at my lfs store that I'm thinking about buying I want to get a friend for my big parrot and the parrots are $5 more so I thought I might try a FH because I've never had one and I thought it might be ok

well if you never had a fh, then I would go for it , because it's for the fun of the moment :)

If the fh is under 4" and look like that, tell the lfs owner if he wants $15 for it. Im sure they'll say yes. $15 is a good deal for the lfs

so if you listen to these wonderful people here on MFK you might learn something.

flowerhorns are extremely agressive, with no relent. if you want a friend for your parrot a good idea could be to get a kirrin parrot, they have the body shape and features of a parrot, but the markings of a flowerhorn, but they can be little buggers they are all one to their own, meaning they all vary in personality. really if i were you id research fish that i like before going to commit to it.
