My biggest senegal hangs out on the upper most suction cup of the heater with the suction cup supporting him in the very middle and his head held up.

I have a few hiding places, but not a plethora. I also have floating plants and they love to get entangled in those.

My bichirs will get between the heater and the tank wall and just "float" ..but never upside down. I think that kind of stuff is pretty normal for bichirs though.
