I used to feed my Pacu by hand, till one time I was not paying attention, and the thing got ahold of my thumb. It drew blood, and turned my thumbnail purple for a couple weeks.

i hand feed my gar, jardini aro, rtc , oscars, my ray eats krill and earthworms from between my fingers, i just lay my hand against the glass and he comes over and slurps em up. i also feed my clownknife from my fingers

Yeah, that happened to my wife just last night when she was feeding one of our Pacu. I told her if he does it again, I'm cooking him for dinner.
