Does your fish ever run an obstacle course inside your tank?

My two small senegal bichirs (one of them especially) like to go up to the surface of my 75 gallon and swim back and forth a few times at full speed making loud splashing all the way across. They'll do that every now and then, regardless of time of day, it's pretty funny.

My syno cat used to do that all the time. He would start at one end of the tank -zoom across to the other end - go up the wall - swim at the top of the water -upside down-zoom to the other side, go around the filter and back down the wall and repeat the process - he used to do it for hours. I should have got a video!

Yeah, when I used to have silver tip sharks/columbian catfish, they used to do that sorta thing too. Its cool to watch, if you watch them long enough too, they will change patterns.

I have a tall plant in my african tank and they will swim ovals up and down around it I have two baby oscars and they try to swim in the stream of my power head full speed and dont go any where fish do some funny stuff I love them

My wild Oscar likes to swim a around the tank in a set pattern from time to time.

Yeah, the Jewel does that too. Swims around all crazy, then stops all of a sudden and just looks around.

He does that to see if anyone is watching! :D
