does your gar do this?

well i have noticed that my spotted gar has took on a new tactic. when i throw the minnows in he begins to almost dig a hole in the sand with his fins that are on his belly and the hole is almost like a glove because he fits in there and you can barely notice him it basically looks like a long fox hole. when one of the minnows swim by he pops up grabs it and sinks back into his hole. does your gar do this or is mine just special?

mine never did that and ive never even heard of a gar doing that. sounds like an eel move lol
