Does your LFS have a return policy?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
my LFS has a 15 day

but with me working there i have an everlasting one (seeming i work in the fish dep)

well, my experience is that yes, most of my local petstores have went out of business (which really sucks as there were some cool ones at one time)...

of the one remaining one that is not a chain, am not sure of return policy as i have never had a fish die on me that was recently purchased from them.... am either extremely lucky in this regard or they just stock really great fish...! ( the one caveat, me, and am sure i am not the only one, have a real love-hate thing going with the son who is gm and in charge of the fishies... is one quirky sum*****!!

My local place was supposed to have a return policy. They don't honor it if you quarentine your new fish.....

Like the guy will replace my whole collection if I don't??

Mine is great. I bought some fish a while back (4 to be exact) and all were healthy, but after a week one died and one was swimming upside down. I brought in the dead one and injured one and they gave me a replacement for the dead one and for the hurt one they nursed it back to health and returned it to me. It's still alive today!

the lfs closest to me has a 7 day return policy for a store credit they do not refund cash at all

I guess he knows that already,in the beginning he said that he orders from them. The stores here dont have return policies any more whats worse, they no longer offer credit for any fish that you may want to sell back.:irked:
