what do you think is better for carnivorous fishes? you can indicate brands, types, pros & cons:screwy:

I have never heard of this before, but if its healthy for the fish then i have a 30lb bag of Nutro that my jd, pollenis and possibly my fronts may be interested in. :)

From what I understand neither is exactly perfect fish food, but catfood is supposed to be better do to more amounts of fish and/or fishmeal in the ingredients

well a fish food is still obviously the best..but not for the budget:grinno:

there was a story on there like a year ago of someone that was feeding dog food to their oscar, and it died of unknown reason at 8"s...

so I would say it isnt healthy for your fish... also the dog and cat foods will have oils and fats that fish are used to...

that fish are not used to* :D

I used to feed my fish Dog food and cat food...watch the dog food though a lot of it is coated with fat to make it patable.....dried cat food worked the best however if they don't eat it all it will foul your water....GL varied diet is the best....
