I am very happy with California Natural Lamb&Rice. My english bulldog loves it and he's been eating it since he was a puppy , now he's 4 . Never had any health problems/ digestive issues.

I recommend Evo and Blue Buffalo. Evo can be really pricey though, but the Blue Buffalo is usually not horribly priced. Products by Nutro (they use the "nutro" name and a few others) are alright foods as well.

There's quite a few really good brands out there, but most of them aren't readily available in your normal pet supply stores.

I've fed Taste of The Wild, Blue Buff, Solid Gold- wolf king, Wellness, Iams, Nutro, California Naturals.. the list goes on.

Orijen, or Wellness Core is my vote.. However, they are both hard to find depending on your area, and expensive.

I am also a firm believer in a B.A.R.F or RAW diet. I have 4 pitbulls, and when they were on raw they did amazing well, and looked amazing. It however became costly. haha.

Feel free to ask your veterinarian for a recommendation.

This would seem like a good idea...BUT the lobbies of vet offices are usually full of one brand for sale. Usually science diet in my experience. More than likely the vet is going to recommend whatever they are selling...regardless of if its the best or not.

Purina makes Science Diet...

If you're gonna feed purina, you might as well just feed them garbage.
