You'd be more happy with a color wheel in front of your ten gallon skylar69 :D.

what do u mean? i saw pic of his fish before it died.. Its Colors where weak but it still was well feed and big.

IMO you answered your own question. I want low food bills but IMO if my fish aren't going to have the best color I can get why bother keeping them.

I think with fish that eat veggies like pacu's etc it's less of a concern because they're getting their carotene from the veggies that you suppliment. Or like some have said use it as a suppliment.

I'm using it for my Giant Gourami. It's 32% protein, he loves it, and is growing very fast.

Levi, do you remember what the price per bag was? Just farm store carry it or ??

Someone needs to get ahold of that food from that place that raises monster world record crappie in GA that hogzilla was found on.. :WHOA:

On another note an alternative for cheap food check out www.kensfish.com

They have some almost 10mm sinking pellets for 12.00 for 5lbs.. and it won't make your fish start barking and sniffing each others butts..

50lbs is about $12 at my local hardware store (lots of farms around here so they carry some livestock food)

Why not cat food ?
seems to me fish flavor/ingridents would be closer to fishz liking.
I wouldn't just to be safe.

Since catfood sometimes contains fish that would make them cannibals.. wait most fish already are..

Good point though I think cat food is more compacted/hard. IDK. Good question.

If the excuse is to save money, I don't see why any reason to use cat/dog food when the Purina fish food is so cheap.

just buy bulk amounts of flakes.

Its half Price and half size. The dog food is a big pellet... :) And even some of those Other Fish food that get that big still jump in price...
