staffordshire terriers are good dogs, as are pit bulls, which i have 2 of. i have 2 cats they will not touch at all, but i have had both of my dogs bring me back cat presents more than once. they are very good at learning what they can and cant play with. let them know from a young age that cats are his toy and youll do just fine. put in a doggy door for the night times. dogs got the ears and the nose to do the job very well. put motion sensor light out there so the dog knows when a cat nears the pond. then the chase is on and when your dog can run up the tree after the cats, they learn to just Stay the Fuch Away. keeps my cats happy too, cause it keeps the competition away

Thanks for the info.

Dont get me wrong I dont hate cats. Its just that they want to use my property as a hunting ground and as a giant litter box. Not mention my fence as a massive scratching post. You would be shocked at how much damage a group of cats can cause. Its not just a nightime thing. Everyday when I come home from work I can count on atleast 8 cats to be in my backyard. Let me tell you cat piss all over your fence stinks! As does coming home and seeing dead birds that were mauled just for hell of it.

if u r okay with a bigger dog i would get the dobberman pinscher, but if not i would go with the bull terrier. both have awesome watch dog instincts and are still nice dogs. great personalities

I would recomend a boxer, great breed of dog, and highly intelligent. We have had ours for 3 years now, and we do not have cat, or squirrel problem any more, we let him out in the backyard saying, get the kittys, or get the squirrels, he is quite comical, he runs out growling and barking...lol...We also have neighbors with several cats, and with our Aries around, they preffer not to come into our yard! What ever dog you decide on, good luck!

Have a great weekend everyone!
Jen

why cant you just trap the cats, kill them, and then drop the bodies off 10 miles out of town? its only a crime if you get caught.

things like this certainly can't be looked into by authorities. If it was my yard, I'd definitely be doing something along these lines.

get u newfoundland dog there big and black and are strong as ****, they are used for rescuing people who are drowning i saw a thing on tv where one pulled a 12 ft wooden boat with 2 ppl to the shore wich was a fair distance away. or just get a fighting dog that will kick the **** out of all the other dogs also poison works well 2 . :)
