I don't know about here in the States, but I can tell what will happen to the dog there..
Lumboga was from northern Sulawesi island, a predominantly Christian area, where the local spicy diet is famous in Indonesia for including dogs, bats and forest rats.
So what exactly is that supposed to mean? I'm trying not to take it offensively.. but when you've seen your Grandparents have to reply on eating their dogs in Asia because the Bird Flu wiped out their way of life.. People tend to categorize dogs as a "delicacy" in Asia, where its nothing more than a cow in a different form.
I'm glad you were only attacked by a dog that was probably well fed on dry food, not seven starving dogs, or we wouldn't hear about your exciting story. How did you rip its ear off, Eddie? "Mike Tyson" style?
I would really be hard pressed to believe that you could fend off 7 ravenous dogs. I would really be hard pressed to believe that I could fend of 7 ravenous dogs intent on eating me.
I would imagine the guy went into his house with a mind set that in no way prepared him for the kind of greeting the dogs had in mind.
Hunger has a way of doing crazy things to the things. If you do a little research into attacks by packs of feral dogs that have been happening as of late you will find that they are a force to be reckoned with.
More so, what kinds of dogs was the man keeping. Just common everyday puppy dogs or were they actual gaurd dogs trained to protect the property. I can well imagine if they were gaurd dogs.
The human body is very weak if it is hit in the right place. Though it is impossible to tell, I would imagine one of the dogs was able to score a hit in the right place and it was a done deal.
I do not care if you are chuck norris if a dog bit you in a few certain places your in deep trouble. Multiply that by 7 dogs and you are screwed!
