If you can't fill up the tank and do weekly changes then I would seriously think of down sizing. I would say yours is a bit overstocked which can be fine as long as you can keep control of the water. Just look at your water, it should be crystal clear. Whats your exact stock?

+1 If you could do weekly water changes you water would be very very clear with that pump. (if it was running to full potential of course.)

I dont get it the math doesnt lie..... I can under stand if a tank is a couple of gallons off the company will round it up or down. SO it is not far fetched that they call a 112 a 110. But to exceed it by 18 gallons it a lot! Plus every 120 that I have seen has been 60x16x16.. Which is like 122 gallons or something like that.

60L x 18W x 24H = 112 according to the calculators. Unless he has a custom tank the actually dimension should be 60 x 18 x 26 which comes out to be 121 gallon. So what I am thinking is he is miscalculating when measuring the tank.

Oceanic makes a 110 that is his dimensions.

ok lets say i did get rid of 1 oscar 1 con, how would my other oscar fare without its tank buddy that its been with for so long?

I don't know. But it can't be as bad as living in bad water.

Im sure he would do just fine. Plus the more stock you have in that tank and the less water changes the more of a chance to get HITH.

I stand corrected. Seems like an odd number to make, but then again look at 29 gallons.

I can see where you are coming from.
